Taylor began recording ASMR using her phone, and later uploaded the videos on YouTube. PewDiePie also featured her in a gaming online video just after she hit 50,000 subs approximately 1 1/2 months after launching the initial video. Taylor stopped creating videos at around 2 months when she had around 100 000 followers. Her videos on YouTube to avoid technical problems with the new equipment. After a month long break and a few months of making new videos, she started in the new year, such as the famous ASMR 10 Triggers to help You sleep (35 million views as of the month of August, 2022). In July 2017 she uploaded another video that was viewed by millions, ASMR 20 Triggers to help You sleep (38 million views at August 2022). In August 2017, she was interviewed in a Shane Dawson videoand shortly after she hit 1 million viewers on YouTube. Wired UK reported that in February 2019, she made $1,000 per day through advertising on her YouTube channel

Helfer is a native of rural Donalda, Alberta, Canada and was the daughter of Dennis Helfer and Elaine Helfer. Her parents are from German, English, Swedish and Norwegian heritage. She attended William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler. Together with her siblings Trena Tammy Tara she lived as a farm worker on the farm owned by her family. A modeling agency scout discovered Helfer aged 17, while standing in line for a screening.
